Mitchell Travis is an 19 year old freelance photographer based in Mazomanie, Wisconsin. Mitchell found his passion for photography in elementary school when he started taking photos for fun on his mothers iPhone. He later got his first camera in 2017 where he started learning the basics of photography. After documenting the Mazomanie flood of August 2018, he found his passion for photojournalism and telling people’s stories through photographs. When Mitchell isn’t taking photos you can find him operating a newspaper press, printing newspapers based in Wisconsin and Iowa. Mitchell’s work has been featured on WKOW 27, Channel 3000, NBC 15, Wisconsin State Journal, Hearts of Heroes and Star News to name a few.
